We had a wonderful time at messy church today remembering the people who gave their lives for our freedom. As well as the usual mix of music, food, fun and creativity, we also took a moment to pause and remember. We laid our homemade poppies at the cross and spent time reflecting on the sacrifice of our forefathers. We also learnt about God’s ultimate sacrifice for us.
As the Jesus said; “love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”.
