After a jam-packed week of games, food, crafts, music, painting and more we finally said goodbye to the team from Broadway Baptist Church this morning. Last week they organised and ran the wonderful 'Glorious Food Holiday Club' in the mornings, then took on a variety of challenges in the afternoons. Thanks to them, the area outside of the Earls Colne Museum is now weed free and there are some well painted fences and benches around the village. The group led a beautiful service at Colne Place followed by a chance to have cake and a chat with the residents. Having thrown themselves into helping at the Four Colne Show on Saturday, they then led Sunday's service at the church. On their last day yesterday the team transformed the upper room in church, do have a look next time you are in the building!
A massive thank you to the team, especially the leaders Marianne, Pete and Sarah for making it happen as well as everyone at ECBC who hosted and cooked for the team.
